Viewing Changes for a Document

Any time change requests and/or change orders are created for a document, they can be referenced from the Document record. Also, when new revisions or new documents are created, the resulting revision will contain any Change Request and/or Change Order records from the Changes link. The document owner can reference any markups attached to the Change Request record and check in the files from the Document record > Changes link as well as create change requests from this link.

  1. From the Document record tree, click the Changes link.
    Result: The Changes window is displayed.
  2. Click the drop down arrow to filter the displayed results:
Change List Description

Change Requests

Displays a list of change requests created for the document.

Change Requests Incorporated

Displays a list of change requests for which the document is listed as the Addressed By document.

Change Orders

Displays a list of change orders that contain changes in which the document is listed as the original document.

Change Orders Incorporated

Displays a list of change orders that contain changes in which the document is listed as the result document.

Applicable if Document Management is integrated with Change Management.

Change Management Requests

Displays a list of change management requests created for the document.

Change Management Requests Incorporated

Displays a list of change management requests for which the document is listed as the Addressed By document.

Change Management Plans

Displays a list of change management plans that contain changes in which the document is listed as the original document.

Change Management Plans Incorporated

Displays a list of change management plans that contain changes in which the document is listed as the result document.
